Mastercard Summer Internship Program
The Mastercard Summer Internship Program is a comprehensive program where students will gain hands on real work-life skills while having fun and contributing to a global company. As an intern, you will be challenged with completing projects that will enhance your skills as well as contribute to the department’s goals and objectives.

What you’ll do

Software engineers at Mastercard build the systems that process transactions, analyse data and detect fraud to gain insight into the direction of the economy on behalf of our customers. We are focused on building simple, safe and smart solutions that instil trust in every interaction. Mastercard software engineering teams are obsessed with security, reliability, and performance and driven to deliver solutions that delight our customers. We are looking for talented software engineers to develop advanced technologies and applications that are revolutionizing payments.

  • A hands-on engineer who writes high-quality code with a focus on security, design, and maintainability.
  • Contribute to all phases of software development from design through rollout.
  • Have strong ownership of your team’s software including monitoring, dependencies, build, and deployments.

What you’ll need
  • To be available to work Full-Time between approx. Mid-June to Early-Sept
  • To be a Penultimate Masters/Undergraduate Student, due to graduate no earlier than 2024
  • Studying Computer Science, Engineering or similar
  • Experience using Python, Java, C#, JavaScript or similar
  • Innovative thinking and thoughtful risk-taking.
  • Ability to partner across the organization.
  • Sound communication skills.
